Learning Resource Network (LRN), a UK-based international awarding organisation, has formalised a strategic partnership with Pakistan Schools Oman, one of the oldest community school networks in the Sultanate. The signing ceremony, held at Pakistan School Muscat, was attended by Chairman, Board of Directors, Pakistan Schools Oman, Ameer Hamza; Senior Principal, Abdul Raheem; Principal, Pakistan School Muscat, Gul Rahim; Head of Research and Development, Dr Rifat Saba; and Coordinator to the Board of Directors.
The CEO of Learning Resource Network, Dr.Muhammad Zohaib Tariq represented the organization.
From the British Embassy Muscat, Dominic Lyons ,Country Director, Department of Business and Trade, also graced the ceremony and highlighted the shared commitment to strengthening UK–Oman educational cooperation.
The partnership aims to elevate teaching quality, professional development, and international academic standards across Pakistan School Muscat. LRN will support the school in enhancing teacher competencies, delivery practices, and student learning outcomes through internationally benchmarked qualifications and quality assurance frameworks. Dr Muhammad Zohaib Tariq, CEO of LRN, emphasised the organisation’s long-term commitment to Oman and its dedication to empowering educators through modern, globally aligned training.
Representing Pakistan School Muscat, Chairman Board of Directors, Mr. Ameer Hamza, emphasised that the collaboration marks a significant milestone in enriching the school’s academic provision and preparing students for global opportunities.
This forward-looking collaboration is expected to strengthen professional development, expand internationally recognised learning pathways, and contribute to sustained educational excellence across the region.
