A quality math program must demonstrate mathematics as a tool for engaging students in meaningful exploration and investigation. Across all grades, teachers encourage students to use logic and reason to make connections between mathematical topics and other disciplines.

Our math program is focused on how conceptual mathematics helps students understand Why the math works. Problem-solving through the use of manipulatives helps young children retain ideas so that later, more abstract mathematics makes sense.

Social studies instruction at PSM is founded upon students understanding the past, present, and future. We address these topics in a highly collaborative, interactive, and hands-on way. As an International school, we provide opportunities to understand the world they live in, including local studies in the host country of Oman and beyond to a global scale.

We believe every child is an artist. In our visual arts classes, your child will develop art and visual literacy skills through exposure to a variety of media, techniques, and applications, including Print-making, clay, oil pastels, acrylic paints, and more, so they can develop vital creative thinking skills.

Physical activity is critical to the development and maintenance of good health. We seek to help your child develop the knowledge, physical and interpersonal skills, and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity and fitness.
